You are warmly welcome to Lasarettet in Enköping! Our operations Our emergency department, with approximately 26,800 visits/year, plays a central role in the hospital's operations. The emergency department is available 24/7 for acute visits and is the hospital's center for disaster preparedness. We receive patients of all ages with various diagnoses, many of whom are children. Your assignment We are now looking for you – a licensed nurse with some years of experience who is eager for new challenges. We apply individual orientation, which means we adapt the orientation based on your needs. During the orientation period and your first year, advanced CPR, scenario training, recurring training days, and follow-up meetings with our education nurse are included. We also provide long-term competency development including training in ATSS (Acute Trauma Care for Nurses), AMLS (Advanced Medical Life Support), and advanced CPR for both children and adults. Your qualifications You are a licensed nurse with at least one year of experience. Experience from acute care is a merit. Your competencies You have a strong desire to learn and develop and enjoy taking personal responsibility. You believe that good communication and collaboration with colleagues, patients, relatives, and other units are central to the role of a nurse. We also value that you are committed to the organization and its development and that you are not afraid of change. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Work schedule at the emergency department follows a time-scheduled model with reduced working hours. This includes reflective professional supervision as well as shadowing and coaching from our clinical adjunct. You will also participate in practical training at our KTC (Clinical Training Center), a safe and supportive environment for practicing and developing your skills.
