About the Department Sahlgrenska Emergency Department is an intense and exciting workplace with 58,000 patient visits per year. The Emergency Department is part of the Acute Medicine and Geriatrics operational area. We receive a broad spectrum of patients with various medical conditions and symptoms, and we also have a regional trauma care mandate. Approximately 140 employees work at the Emergency Department. The Emergency Department has a central role at Sahlgrenska University Hospital with important collaborations and contact points with a large number of operations where you as a nurse have an important role. We continuously and long-term work to improve work methods and processes to provide our patients with good and safe care.
