The Affective Disorders Clinic is a small and well-functioning outpatient unit, centrally located in beautifully renovated premises in Grönstedska Palace on ST: Eriksgatan. The clinic is part of Psychiatry Northwest, a university clinic in the northwestern part of Stockholm County. The clinic provides specialist-level psychiatric care in both outpatient and inpatient settings and has approximately 550 employees. Our goal is to offer high-quality treatments to our patients while creating a pleasant and inspiring work environment for our staff. We are now recruiting a specialist nurse in psychiatry for the Affective Disorders Clinic.
At the Affective Disorders Clinic, we treat patients with bipolar disorder. We collaborate closely with inpatient care and strive for high accessibility. Our internal working approach is characterized by an open climate, flexibility, and close collaboration among all staff members. The clinic has five specialist doctors, three nurses, and one psychologist.
Work Tasks
As a nurse, you will work with talk therapy for patients with bipolar disorder. The work is largely done independently but always in collaboration with the patient's regular doctor and, if needed, other team members. We have supervision every two weeks. Some medication management is included in the work.
We also work with psychoeducational group treatment, so-called Patient and Family Education, which requires organized work before, during, and after treatment.
Work as a nurse at the Affective Disorders Clinic is flexible. There are good opportunities to adapt your work.
Employment Type:
Permanent position with a 6-month probationary period. Full-time, 38.15 hours/week. Start date by agreement.
Qualifications:
Licensed nurse, preferably with specialist education in psychiatry and basic psychotherapy training (level one) in CBT. Experience working with patients with bipolar disorder is an advantage.
Personal Qualities:
You work in a structured manner, have good collaboration skills, and are flexible.
