About Specialized Palliative Inpatient Care Our target group is patients aged 18 and older who need specialized care at the end of life, have a complex medical condition, or do not respond to treatment. These are often patients with cancer, COPD, heart failure, or various neurological diseases who receive care from us. At Stockholm Sjukhem, palliative care (SPSV) and advanced home healthcare (ASIH) work together. This gives us the opportunity to be responsive and flexible to patients' and loved ones' wishes and needs. Your Role as a Nurse As a nurse, you always have close support from your colleagues and manager, but the nature of the work is built on your ability to make your own decisions and act independently when the situation requires. You will be an important part of a responsible team that together delivers high-quality care and a good work environment. We work in the TakeCare journal system. Right now we are seeking both permanent and on-demand nurses for SPSV, with placement in fine facilities at Bromma Hospital. We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with several years of experience in healthcare. If you have experience in palliative care, that is a merit, but we also welcome you who have worked as a nurse in other areas and are curious to try a new form of care! The role requires good knowledge of spoken and written Swedish.
