Description The Mobile Emergency Unit is available daily between 8-22 and offers patients scheduled visits, acute home visits, and telephone consultations. The unit provides rapid and qualified psychiatric emergency care to patients over 18 years of age in need of acute psychiatric assistance. The unit also has the capacity to provide time-limited support services, for example during temporary crisis reactions, shortly after discharge from inpatient care or until contact is established at psychiatric outpatient care. We have a team at the unit that works with psychological and retrospective reviews. We are located on the St. Göran Hospital grounds on Kungsholmen and are part of the clinic Northern Stockholm Psychiatry. Duties As a nurse, you will be in a leadership position and lead the work in our consultations. You supervise the mobile teams on assignments and medication dispensing to patients. You prepare and distribute medications. You assess and process referrals that come to the mobile emergency unit. You therefore need good knowledge of how psychiatry is organized, as well as a strong ability to make care level assessments and acute severity assessments. Qualifications We are looking for someone with an interest and experience in working within adult psychiatry. The job requires that you have a strong ability to express yourself verbally and in writing. You need good knowledge of the region's organization and how psychiatry is structured regarding treatment services and care levels. It is important that you can make independent decisions and have a strong ability to justify your decisions and formulate them in writing. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability as the position involves considerable communication with both patients and care colleagues. Personal qualities that are valued are being solution-oriented, friendly, and helpful. It is meritorious to have specialist training in psychiatry. Requirements Good computer skills are a requirement. Documentation occurs in the Take Care patient records system. Driver's license Terms Full-time, permanent position, immediate/start date by agreement. The work involves primarily evening and weekend shifts according to schedule.
