This encompasses both the scientific knowledge area and patient-centered work based on a humanistic view of people. You are responsible for ensuring that our residents' health and medical care needs are met. As a nurse, you are responsible for and lead the care work. This means independently, in team collaboration, and in partnership with the resident and their loved ones, you are responsible for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. An important task is also to mentor, support, and educate other care personnel and be a good role model for your colleagues. You work with care in everything you do with great personal responsibility and have the ability to prioritize and lead others even in changed circumstances. Flexibility and collegial cooperation are of great importance in the assignment. About Kvarnåsen Elderly Living Facility Kvarnåsen is located in Årjäng Municipality, Värmland County, close to the Norwegian border. The facility is centrally located in the community near the bus stop, and we are only 12 miles from Oslo. Årjäng offers a rich natural life with several lakes and beautiful nature reserves with hiking trails. Kvarnåsen has 92 apartments distributed across nine units. We offer dementia living, psychogeriatric living, and somatic living. Each unit has a kitchen, dining room/living room, and access to outdoor spaces. In Pelarsalen there is a meeting place where our activity staff arrange activities based on residents' wishes. Here we celebrate birthdays, traditions, and arrange various festivities – all so that our elderly can experience a Good Life – every day. Meals are prepared by chefs in the municipality's restaurant kitchen located in the building. Our focus areas are Health Food Community.
