The Rheumatology Clinic is part of the Medical Center. The clinic receives patients from throughout the region for evaluation and treatment of inflammatory rheumatic diseases and has overall responsibility for development and research in rheumatology in Östergötland. Rheumatology is an interesting specialty in rapid development with new treatment options. We have a large outpatient clinic and collaborate with the Nephrology Department B173 for inpatient care, as well as with several health centers in the region. Job Description We are now looking for someone interested in a stimulating and independent role as a nurse at the rheumatology clinic. You will work at the clinic with varied nursing tasks. In your role, you will work in close collaboration with your nursing colleagues, doctors and nursing assistants. In clinical work, you rotate between different workstations. Work at our infusion clinic involves preparing and administering various medication infusions together with your colleagues. As a clinic nurse, you are responsible for various medication information, training in injection techniques, assessment and signing of test results, and more. At the telephone advice station, you are responsible for medical telephone advice via TeleQ, make your own assessments and handle matters related to this. Several nurses have their own clinic where they see patients for joint assessment, follow-up, offer health consultations and perform cardiovascular screening. This is a development path that can be offered after some time at the clinic. Work Group We are approximately 60 employees at the clinic within professions such as doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, care administrators, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers and dietitians. We have fun together and are now looking for you to be part of our activities. About You We are looking for someone who is a licensed nurse with some work experience in the profession and an interest in rheumatology. Training and experience in rheumatology is advantageous, as is experience with clinic work. You thrive working independently, but also as part of a team. Since the work involves a lot of contact with both patients and colleagues, it is important that you have good collaborative skills, listen attentively and conduct yourself in a manner adapted to the situation. The work requires flexibility as the role can vary over time and you easily adapt to changing circumstances even in daily work. In this role, it is also very important to be secure and stable as a person and have good self-awareness. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
