The Skellefteå/Norsjö local healthcare area includes the Emergency Department, the center for operative activities, Medical and Geriatric Clinic, Rehabilitation Center, Psychiatric Clinic, and primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö. Together, our operations strive to provide good and accessible care to our residents. The Psychiatric Clinic in Skellefteå has approximately 270 employees. Together, we provide specialized care within outpatient care, inpatient care, psychiatric emergency care, and forensic psychiatric care. We are now seeking two nurses/psychiatric nurses for our addiction treatment unit. You will be part of a team consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, psychologists, physicians, medical secretaries, and a department manager. Our patient population consists of people with addiction disorders, often in combination with other psychiatric comorbidities. To meet our patients' complex needs, we work in close collaboration with municipal outpatient services, psychiatry, and other relevant actors. Together, we strive to provide coordinated, individualized, and long-term support. 2 position(s). DUTIES You will work with support and treatment interventions. We provide individualized care, and as a care provider, you will play an important role in shaping care together with the patient based on needs and goals for the contact. The work consists of, among other things, medication management, sample collection, motivational and supportive conversations. It is important to us that our patients and their families feel secure with the care we provide. The work is based on day shifts, with weekends and holidays off. QUALIFICATIONS To work with us, you must present a valid nursing license. Additional qualifications if you have further education in Psychiatry and/or addiction care. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability; you must demonstrate good interpersonal skills, flexibility, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
