About the Unit
At Gothenburg Garrison, over 1,000 people work within the Swedish Armed Forces. Each year, several hundred conscripts complete their basic military training here. Military Health Services is the Swedish Armed Forces' internal occupational health service and operates at all garrison locations nationwide. We focus on health promotion, work environment, statutory examinations, work-related rehabilitation, medical assessments, health and medical care for conscripts, and medical readiness for exercises.
At Military Health Services, we work as a team consisting of doctors, psychologists, nurses, occupational health engineers, physiotherapists, and medical secretaries.
Main Responsibilities
As a nurse at Military Health Services, you will work in a clinic setting performing clinical assessments, blood sampling, vaccination, hearing tests, pre-examination health checks, and telephone consultations. Healthcare may occasionally be provided in the field.
You will work in an organization with varied and independent tasks, collaborating with other Military Health Services staff. You may be assigned to work at other locations and irregular working hours may occur. Physical training of 1.5 hours per week is included in your working time.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Licensed nurse
- Minimum five years of current and relevant professional experience as a nurse
- Category B driver's license (manual transmission)

Employment Type: Part-time temporary position, 20 hours/week.
Individual salary negotiation applies.
Work Location: Västra Frölunda, Gothenburg.
Travel and evening/weekend duty may occur.
