We are looking for someone who wants to be an important part of an exciting team-building effort, where you work with and develop medical cancer care within hematology and palliative care. We lay the foundation for good competence and collaboration through a well-organized onboarding process for our new colleagues. Are you the team player we are looking for? What We Are Looking For We are looking for a licensed nurse. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and are seeking someone who is flexible and can adapt to changing situations and operational needs. You are self-driven, take responsibility for your tasks, and move your work forward in a structured way. Furthermore, you have good empathetic ability and professional conduct that allow you to create trusting relationships with patients, relatives, and colleagues. You are also service-oriented and have a genuine commitment to providing support and service of high quality. What You Will Work With Department 63 has 12 care beds specializing in Hematology and Palliative Care. The Hematology Unit at Sunderby Hospital has a regional mandate focused on the investigation and treatment of both hematological deficiency diseases and advanced treatment of malignant blood diseases, as well as care following stem cell transplantation. Palliative care is the care given when cure is no longer possible. Palliative patients are often troubled by complex symptoms and require specialized palliative care, where we strive to provide optimal nursing care and support. We work in teams with physicians, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, social workers, hospital chaplains, and a palliative care advisory team. Start date by agreement. Selection and interviews take place on a rolling basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline.
