Welcome to us Awake night shift nurse for our pleasant care home Solgården Rosgården in Axelsberg. Do you want an independent and meaningful night role where you make a difference for our residents while having a secure team around you? We are a pleasant care home with engaged and secure staff. As a nurse at night, you are responsible for care on a unit and have nursing responsibility for the entire facility. You also have on-call responsibility for a nearby service home. The position suits you if you are comfortable and confident in independent work, varied tasks and creating security for our residents during the night. Your role As an awake night shift nurse with us, you have an important role in creating security and safety for both residents and staff during the night. You work independently but are in close contact with the care staff. You work as a nurse and also have care responsibility for a unit during the night in cooperation with care staff who have care responsibility for the other units. You have nursing responsibility for the entire facility and on-call responsibility for another nearby unit. Your main responsibilities include: Taking responsibility for nursing care and support during the night. Having care responsibility for a unit during the night shift. Being a present and secure support for night staff. Taking responsibility for work management and if necessary distributing and prioritizing tasks. Taking responsibility for delegations and following up on these. Having on-call responsibility for Trekantens service home and receiving and handling calls and needs that arise during the night as well as traveling to the unit if needed. Assessing changes in residents' health status and taking appropriate action. Cooperating with care staff, colleagues and other healthcare providers to ensure safe and good care. Your competence and experience To thrive and succeed in the role as an awake night shift nurse, we see that you have: Nursing license. Experience working as a nurse, preferably within elderly care, care homes or municipal health and medical care. Good ability to work independently and make decisions based on patient needs. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Ability to prioritize and handle acute situations in a safe and structured way. Experience with delegation and work management is meriting. Experience with night work is meriting. Personal qualities We are looking for someone who is confident, responsible and solution-oriented. You need to be able to stay calm even when situations change while maintaining a professional and respectful approach.
