On the infectious disease and pulmonary medicine ward, we care for patients with conditions such as pneumonia, sepsis, wound infections, endocarditis, lung cancer, and COPD. We also care for patients with compromised immune systems or patients requiring isolation due to infectious diseases such as tuberculosis.
Right now the infectious disease ward is expanding and we are looking for you who want to be part of creating a new operation. Do you want to work with patients of different ages and with varied tasks? Do you want to gain knowledge about lung and infectious diseases, infection control, and disease prevention? Do you want the opportunity to develop in your work and drive development together with experienced colleagues? Then take the chance to start working with us!
Infectious medicine is an area where patient conditions can change rapidly and work tasks may need to be reprioritized. This requires flexibility and experience in both nursing care and social coordination as well as acute patient care.
On the infectious disease ward, we work in paired care with a registered nurse and nursing assistant, as well as in teams with other professionals around the patient.
We strive to offer good, person-centered care and to be a workplace where everyone has room to develop. With us, we use a preferred schedule system that is then coordinated based on the needs of the operation.
Your Tasks
As a registered nurse, you lead nursing care from a holistic perspective with the patient in focus. You are responsible for nursing care and are expected to be able to prioritize and delegate tasks. You are ultimately responsible for medication management and nursing documentation. Documentation is done in the journal systems TakeCare and Lifecare SP.
Who Are You?
We see that you are a licensed registered nurse, preferably with experience and interest in pulmonary and infectious disease care.
If you have taken relevant courses in the field, that is a merit. Knowledge of various respiratory support devices such as bilevel and high-flow oxygen therapy is also a merit.
As a registered nurse, you are empathetic and feel calm and secure in your professional role. You can work independently and in a team and are concerned with both quality and patient safety. We also see that you have good collaboration skills, are flexible, and can adapt your approach based on the individual and situation.
Before a hiring decision is made, a background check is conducted through a criminal record extract.
Selection is ongoing during the application period.
