About the service Department 68 is the inpatient unit for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Dalarna with 5 care beds. We work with acute situations and shorter care periods where the child or young person always has a guardian with them during their stay. Our operations are characterized by close collaboration with families and networks, and an interdisciplinary approach where nurses, care assistants, assistant nurses, doctors, psychologists, and social workers work together. Responsibilities As a nurse on the night shift, you have a central role in patient care and are responsible for creating a sense of security for our patients and their families during the most vulnerable hours of the day. Your responsibilities include, among other things: Care responsibility for inpatient patients. Assessment, planning, and follow-up of care interventions. Coordination and prioritization of care work during the night. Handling and assessment of on-call and advisory conversations. Collaboration with other professions on the unit and external partners. Documentation and work in accordance with current guidelines and care processes. The work involves significant independent responsibility while you have close collaboration with experienced colleagues. Qualifications Requirements: Registered Nurse license Good Swedish language skills, spoken and written Good computer skills Meritorious: Psychiatric further education Experience from child and adolescent psychiatry and family work Application This position involves direct and regular contact with children and/or young people.
