About the Operation Are you interested in working in an exciting operation? With us, you have the opportunity to combine patient care with assisting in advanced examinations. The Gastroenterology Clinic's team consists of approximately 35 employees—registered nurses, nursing assistants, and physicians—who together provide specialized care for gastrointestinal and liver diseases in central Dalarna. A large part of our work involves performing endoscopy examinations, but we also provide day care services as well as physician and nurse consultations. The clinic is open during daytime, Monday through Friday. Job Responsibilities The registered nurse rotates between the clinic and endoscopy. At the clinic, you will handle telephone consultation and 1177 services, schedule and call patients, and administer medications. You will be part of one or more responsibility teams and have the opportunity to run your own clinic based on need. In endoscopy, you are responsible for preparing patients for examinations, providing information, patient care, medication management, and monitoring during and after procedures. You will also be trained to assist the physician with endoscopic examinations and treatments. If you enjoy a mix of acute and planned work, we can offer you stimulating and varied work where you contribute to developing our future operations. The position includes the opportunity to rotate to Ward 22—for example, every third weekend, with the interval being negotiable. Ward 22 primarily serves patients with intestinal and liver diseases, blood disorders, and lung diseases. Qualifications Requirements: Licensed registered nurse Merits: Experience in gastroenterology. Personal Qualities: You should be able to adapt to varying situations and thrive in a changing environment where the patient always comes first.
