About Us Uddevalla On-Call Center is operated by Närhälsan's healthcare centers in Uddevalla Municipality, Närhälsan Lysekil, and the private healthcare centers Centralhälsan Silentzvägen and Familjeläkarna Uddevalla. The on-call center is centrally located in Uddevalla, within walking distance of public transportation. In the same facilities, Närhälsan Dagson healthcare center is also located, which creates excellent opportunities to combine work between the healthcare center and the on-call center when needed. We assess incoming patients at our drop-in clinic. Work tasks include triage, acute care of sick patients, specimen collection, and assistance with wound injuries. We work in a team consisting of nursing assistants, registered nurses, and physicians. We work in the Asynja Visph medical record system. Our hours from the turn of the year are 5 PM–10 PM on weekdays and 11 AM–7 PM on weekends and public holidays (staff begins at 9:45 AM on weekends and public holidays). About You We are seeking a licensed registered nurse with confidence in your competence. We would appreciate it if you have work experience, which gives you the ability to prioritize and make quick decisions. Experience in acute care and/or work at a healthcare center or on-call center is a merit. You have an interest in meeting new people and sensitivity to the situation. We value personal qualities such as initiative and teamwork ability, as we are a small group working closely together. Other Information Interviews at the on-call center take place on an ongoing basis. We welcome both hourly employees and part-time employees, and can also offer up to full-time for those who wish to combine work at the on-call center with work at the healthcare center. The initial selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who call candidates for a phone interview. Afterwards, the hiring manager makes a second selection of applicants and invites them to an interview at the healthcare center. We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe situations as concretely as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
