We take care of you and offer development throughout your professional career. About Us Kungälv On-Call Center is a small and pleasant on-call center located next to Närhälsan Solgärde health center. The operation is run by Närhälsan and is a collaboration between Närhälsan's health centers in Kungälv, Stenungsund, Tjörn, and Ale municipalities, as well as private health centers. We strive for close collaboration between different care units to achieve the best possible results for each individual patient. Our mission is to provide good care when regular health centers are closed. Patients come to us with both minor and serious acute complaints that cannot wait until the next day when health centers are open. Everything from wounds and burns, suspected fractures, allergies, breathing difficulties, to various types of infections. Our opening hours are weekdays 5 PM–10 PM, weekends and public holidays 10 AM–6 PM. You work with triage and reception, as well as other common tasks at an on-call center such as phone triage, sample collection, wound dressing, medication administration, and ECG and blood pressure monitoring. We also issue certain X-ray referrals and there is an opportunity for training in suturing minor wound injuries. About You You are a licensed nurse with experience from acute care, primary care, or similar operations. We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident making independent decisions. You are thorough, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize your work tasks. You meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe you enjoy teamwork and for you it is self-evident to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts. You can express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing, and are an engaged and good listener during clinic visits. We would like to see that you have an interest in service development. We also see that you live up to Närhälsan's core values of Reliable, Considerate, and Innovative. Other Information Interviews at the on-call center will be held on a rolling basis. Welcome with your application! About the Recruitment Process Selection is done in two stages. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite candidates to a phone interview. The recruiting manager then makes a second selection of applicants and invites them to an interview at the clinic. We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe concrete situations as specifically as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
