Eskilstuna Municipality's nursing organization consists of approximately 120 registered nurses. Within on-call duties, you work across the entire area of Lagersbergsgården, Ekebo, Skogsgläntan, Marielund, Åbacken, Odlarbäcken and short-term care, Rosenforsgården, and Eskilshem. We are seeking temporary staff for permanent positions as needed. You work evenings and weekends. We offer a preferred schedule system, which means you have the opportunity to influence your working hours based on the facility's needs. You will be based at Åbacken Care and Residential Home at Ådalsvägen 4 or Lagersbergsgården at Lagrådsgatan 64. We have ongoing recruitment and interviews during June, July, and August. 2 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a registered nurse, you are responsible for ensuring that individuals receive safe and secure care and achieve the best possible health and wellbeing in accordance with the municipality's health and medical care responsibilities. You identify and prevent risks in care and assess users' needs for health and medical services. You lead health and medical care work at the facility and collaborate with other professional groups, both within and outside the organization. Together you work to meet the user's needs in the best way possible. The role also includes supervising and delegating care tasks to staff in a clear and pedagogical manner. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with Swedish nursing credentials. You have worked as a registered nurse for several years. A valid driver's license and driving experience are required as we use vehicles in the service. Good documentation skills are also required. Experience working with elderly people is an advantage. It is also beneficial if you have worked with quality registers such as Senior Alert or the Palliative Register. If you have been involved in development work or have further education in a relevant area, that is a plus. As a person, you are calm and feel confident meeting staff, relatives, and users. Building new relationships, as the role involves both collaboration and cooperation with internal and external contacts, comes naturally to you.
