About the Operation Mora Hospital is one of Region Dalarna's two acute care hospitals and offers the closeness and community of a smaller hospital combined with a broad acute care mission. The hospital provides specialist and emergency care for approximately 80,000 residents and also receives many patients during the tourism and event seasons. The Operation, Anesthesia, ICU Clinic consists of an intensive care unit (ICU), central operating room, day surgery, and sterile technology. Advanced care is provided around the clock with approximately 1,500 intensive care patients and 4,500-5,000 operations annually, primarily in surgery, orthopedics, urology, and gynecology. The clinic is also responsible for sterilization services to the hospital and health centers in Region Dalarna and participates in, among other things, emergency teams, sedations, and patient transport. Job Responsibilities We offer a permanent position in the Intensive Care Unit in Mora with the condition that you pursue specialist training in intensive care within the coming years. As a registered nurse, you independently care for patients with less advanced care needs. More advanced patients are cared for together with a specialist nurse. The intensive care nurse is responsible for advanced patient care with threatening or manifest failure of vital functions in severe illnesses, accidents, and advanced postoperative care. We have individual schedule planning and currently work 2 out of 5 weekends. Region Dalarna offers a generous wellness benefit, and the ICU actively works to be a health-promoting workplace! Qualifications You must: be a licensed registered nurse Meritorious: Experience working in inpatient/emergency care We seek someone who is positive and thorough, has a patient-focused approach, and good interpersonal skills with both patients and colleagues. You also communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and work with digital health record systems. Your ability to multitask and handle stress is good, and you have the ability to juggle multiple tasks. We also see that you have good collaboration skills and a flexible work approach. We seek someone who is engaged and contributes to a good work environment. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability and previous references.
