Holmsund Care and Residential Home consists of six units: three group homes, a short-term care unit, a service housing department, and a group home located in Obbola. We are now seeking a Registered Nurse! Your Responsibilities As a registered nurse in Umeå Municipality, you will be responsible for health and medical care services for our residents. Your tasks include medical assessments, wound care, medication management, documentation, and supervision of care staff. You will ensure that medical services maintain high quality and function well in daily operations. In this role, you will work closely with care staff, paramedical professionals, and management at the care and residential home, as well as coordinate contacts with physicians and other healthcare professionals in both primary and inpatient care. Work hours are scheduled for daytime and weekends. About You As a registered nurse in the municipality, you and your nursing colleagues hold the highest medical expertise. Therefore, it is important that you are comfortable taking independent responsibility, have good initiative, and contribute to good communication and collaboration with other healthcare professionals. Of course, you maintain a respectful and professional demeanor when interacting with residents and their families. Requirements Registered Nurse license Driver's license (Category B) Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Valid criminal record clearance certificate Meritorious Further education in elderly care, district nursing, or psychiatry Pets (dogs and cats) may be present in the workplace, and some individuals smoke, so you should not have allergies.
