Höglandssjukhuset Eksjö
Are you a nurse curious about testing new challenges? Do you want to seize the opportunity to work in different units and find what you're passionate about? Then this job is for you!
ELSA stands for Unit for Licensed Nurses in General Service. As an ELSA nurse, you are employed on a permanent basis, but you work in different departments to broaden your expertise. You typically work for six or twelve months in each department before rotating. Placements change on March 1st and September 1st. As an ELSA nurse, you are part of the regular staffing of the department during your time there—you are not in addition to regular personnel.
What We Offer You
As an ELSA nurse, your work is varied and perfect for someone who is curious and enjoys trying new things! This role suits you if you are a newly graduated nurse who hasn't yet decided which field you want to work in, as well as experienced nurses looking to expand your expertise or try something new for a period. The position is a full-time permanent employment. You can start by arrangement, but we would be happy if you could join us as soon as possible. You don't need to have your nursing license to apply for the position, but you must have obtained your license before starting your employment with us.
As an ELSA nurse, you get the opportunity to gain experience from different departments and carry forward best practices to new placements. You gain insight into many different operations and grow and develop in your role as a nurse. Additionally, you have the chance to build a valuable network across the entire hospital.
"After a couple of years as an ELSA nurse, you feel much more confident as a nurse, understand different operations, and have made many great contacts at the hospital."
