Please visit our website: Link to our website About the Role Your responsibilities at the health center span a broad field and encompass general medicine, where you meet patients of all ages and in various situations. You work in a health-promoting, advisory, and treatment capacity in primary care, both via telephone, home visits, digital healthcare appointments, and at the clinic. Work includes both acute and planned services. You will work largely independently with your own diabetes patient clinic, where you triage, treat, and follow up with patients, and you also have an experienced diabetes nurse as your closest colleague. Close collaboration occurs with your colleagues on the unit and cross-professionally within the team, as well as with other actors such as home care and other specialist care. Together with the health center management, you are responsible for developing and advancing the operation. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, so mentoring students is also part of your role at the health center. About You You are a licensed nurse. You have postgraduate education in Diabetes of at least 15 higher education credits. Previous experience as a Diabetes Nurse and/or from working in primary care is advantageous. We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making independent decisions. You are thorough, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize your tasks. You will meet many patients in this role, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe you will enjoy teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. You communicate well both verbally and in writing, and you are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and clinic visits. We would like you to have an interest in digitalization and operational development. A professional approach and good conduct toward customers, patients, and colleagues is essential for you.
