About the Operation Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Dalarna provides specialized care for children and adolescents up to age 18 with serious mental health conditions. Our scope of work is broad and covers mental health issues in children from newborn period through the teenage years. The clinic staff includes social workers, psychologists, treatment assistants, nurses, physicians, special education teachers, occupational therapists, medical secretaries, physical therapists, nursing assistants, and a unit manager. The clinic is beautifully located on the hospital grounds next to the green space Sjukhusparken. Work Tasks We are now seeking a nurse who wants to work in a rewarding, challenging, and important role where children, adolescents, and their families are at the center. As a new employee, you will be offered an individually tailored schedule for orientation as well as introductory training where you will learn more about all operations within the psychiatry division. You will work together with physicians to handle medical follow-ups where you meet patients. Medical follow-ups may involve patients diagnosed with, for example, ADHD, autism, depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, and/or other conditions. Patient visits take place at the clinic or digitally via the Min Vård app. As a nurse, you will provide phone consultations via TeleQ and also participate in assessments of new and ongoing patients, and in time group education sessions may become relevant. Work hours are daytime, Monday–Friday between 8 AM–5 PM with flexible hours where operations allow. Region Dalarna provides a wellness allowance of 2,000 kr/year. Qualifications Requirements: Licensed nurse Meritorious: Advanced training in psychiatry Experience in psychiatry STEP training Personal suitability and ability to collaborate are important to us, as you will work in teams and have collaboration points with other clinics, inpatient care, municipal services, and schools.
