About the Operation Do you want to help develop pediatric nursing in Dalarna? Are you a licensed nurse who wants to make a difference for children, young people, and their families? Then ward 34 might be the right place for you! On ward 34, we care for children and young people between 0-18 years old with both acute and chronic conditions. We like to describe ourselves as a small hospital within a large one - here you'll meet patients across many different areas, including medicine, surgery, and orthopedics. This might include newly diagnosed diabetes, oncology, and neurology. As a nurse with us, you'll play an important role in pediatric care and in meeting the entire family. We work in care pairs together with nursing assistants and have 12 beds. You'll become part of an interdisciplinary team with close collaboration with doctors, dietitians, social workers, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. We also have play therapy and school services, which creates ideal conditions for a safe and child-friendly care environment. The position is permanent with rotation between day/evening/weekend/night shifts. Job Responsibilities A secure team with opportunities to develop! We offer individually tailored introduction based on your previous experience, working alongside an experienced colleague. During daytime, there are also section leaders available to support new nurses and nursing assistants. You'll become part of an open, competent, and cohesive team where we support each other and work together to advance pediatric care. Competency development is an important part of our work and we offer regular in-house training in current areas. Qualifications Requirements: Licensed nurse. Meritorious: Previous experience working in pediatric nursing We place great importance on your personal qualities and suitability for the role.
