Children's and Youth Center Västerbotten is a regional clinic with approximately 400 employees and is responsible for all specialist care in the region for children and young people aged 0-18 years. We have operations in Umeå, Skellefteå, and Lycksele. Ward 2 is a department with multiple specialties: medical, surgical, orthopedic, ear-related diseases, hand and plastic surgery, neurosurgery, and others. The department has 16 care beds on weekdays and 12 on weekends. Our catchment area covers the entire northern region. The pediatric acute care unit is a relatively new operation in continuous development where we currently receive children with medical problems together in a team with nursing assistants and doctors. We are now seeking a registered nurse for our department and pediatric acute care unit. 1 position(s). DUTIES As a registered nurse on Ward 2/pediatric acute care, you will contribute knowledge and commitment that make people feel secure. Standard nursing duties in close collaboration with other professions. As a nurse with us, you assess, prioritize, and address the patient's special care needs. The work is varied. Sometimes with short hospital stays and in other situations the work consists of more complex issues and longer care periods. We have both acute admissions of children and young people to the department but we also have a large portion of our operations that are planned. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking you as a registered nurse. Further education in pediatrics and young people or other education that the employer considers relevant is meriting.
