About the Operation We are now recruiting registered nurses for Department 90 (psychiatric intensive care). County Adult Psychiatry Falun/Säter has a region-wide mandate within adult psychiatry and is responsible for the care and treatment of patients in acute psychiatric conditions. Operations are divided between Falun and Säter. In Säter, the region's only psychiatric emergency clinic is located, along with Departments 90 and 95. In Falun, there is a dependency center, a general psychiatric inpatient ward, LARO, and ECT services. Department 90 in Säter is designed for patients with serious psychiatric conditions and a significant need for intensive nursing care and observation, for example, in cases of psychosis and manic episodes. Many patients are cared for under LPT. The department has 10 beds and high staffing levels around the clock. The position includes work during day and evening shifts, as well as weekend duty—every other or every third weekend. Job Responsibilities As a registered nurse on our department, you lead and organize nursing care on the ward. You are responsible for rounds, conduct patient and family meetings, and collaborate with neighboring care units. The role also includes participating in discharge planning and performing blood draws and medication management. You collaborate with care coordinators regarding ÖPT patients. On the departments, registered nurses, doctors, and nursing assistants work closely together, along with a treatment team (social worker, psychologist, occupational therapist).
