About Us - Department of Surgery, Department 62 As a registered nurse at NU-sjukvården, you make a difference for other people—every day. Lives are saved here, lives are changed here. With us, you work closely with other professions where we in the surgical clinic collaborate and help each other across department boundaries and clinics. Here you get the opportunity to work with broad and advanced care characterized by development and teamwork! Department 62 has 18 care beds and is a surgical care unit that primarily conducts advanced abdominal surgery. Our main focus is planned surgery of the lower abdominal organs (colon and rectum). We also have an endocrinology focus with thyroid and parathyroid operations. With us at Department 62, you are part of a daily routine where pre- and postoperative care is a central part and high patient throughput characterizes the unit. We have clear teamwork and you become part of a team consisting of registered nurses, nursing assistants, specialist nurses, and doctors. We care about qualitative care alongside development where your introduction is tailored based on experience and knowledge! With us, recovery and development are in focus. We work according to individual schedules. Scheduling is arranged in consultation with your manager. Qualifications Registered nurse (legitimerad sjuksköterska). It is desirable that you have previous experience in acute care or experience as a nurse in surgery, but it is not required. You are a person who enjoys working in a team and has good collaboration skills but also enjoys working independently. We would like to see that you are responsible, thorough, flexible, and enjoy varied work tasks and have an interest in human encounters. Great weight is placed on personal suitability.
