The Stroke Unit and Neurorehab belong to the Neurocenter at Sunderby Hospital. The care ward has 13+1 beds for inpatient neurological care and rehabilitation and is located in accessible facilities on the 4th floor. Adjacent to the ward are the stroke rehabilitation team (SHR), stroke clinic, baclofen clinic, and rehabilitation medicine clinic. We are looking for We are seeking a licensed registered nurse who wants to work permanent nights. You are interested in person-centered care and have a rehabilitation-focused work approach. As a person, we hope you are committed, able to work independently, and have a strong team spirit. We place great importance on personal qualities and would like to see that you are a positive person who can prioritize and act in acute and unexpected situations. Experience working in stroke and/or rehabilitation as well as experience with Cosmic is advantageous but not required. What you will be working with Department 41 is staffed at night by 2 registered nurses and 2 nursing assistants. The stroke unit's goal is to work with the entire care chain, from acute stroke onset until the patient is discharged, sometimes with support from our SHR team. At the stroke unit, you work together with the team based on clear procedures grounded in the National Board of Health and Welfare's National Guidelines for Stroke. At Neurorehab, we have Norrbotten's highest rehabilitation level, and we care for and rehabilitate patients with spinal cord injury and acquired brain damage, among others. The rehabilitation provided is at specialist level (accredited according to Carf) and patients come here from throughout the county by referral. In your role as a registered nurse with us, you ensure patients' medical and specific care needs and then plan and prioritize the interventions to be implemented. We work with person-centered care where the patient is a natural part of the team. As a registered nurse in the ward, you work with both acute care and rehabilitation. In direct patient care, you work in close collaboration with nursing assistants.
