What we are looking for We are looking for you who are a registered nurse. It is meritorious if you have Infectious Disease Care 15.60hp, if you have knowledge of Cosmic and Life Care, and if you have experience from Infectious Disease Care and department work. What you will be working with On the department, you work as a nurse in a team with experienced nursing assistants and doctors as well as with other professional categories – with the patient in focus. In the work group, we have good cohesion, we help each other, and we value development and work satisfaction highly. As a nurse in the infectious disease department, you are responsible for the care of patients with varying monitoring needs together with your nursing assistants. Our patients have changing care needs that create varying work pace with sometimes rapid changes in patient conditions. No two days are alike here. As a nurse, you are responsible for leading and distributing work within the team, and together with your colleagues, you are responsible for a good work environment. You will learn a lot about contagious as well as non-contagious infectious diseases. We care for patients with common diseases such as pneumonia and urinary tract infections, but also patients with hepatitis, malaria, infections of heart valves, skeleton, and brain. You will become an expert on transmission routes and care hygiene, and you will meet patients from all over the world.
