The Registered Nurse Role
With quality, compassion, and expertise in every patient interaction, our goal is to offer our residents safe, accessible, and high-quality ear, nose, and throat care. As a registered nurse at the Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic, you'll have a varied role that includes:
• Telephone advice (Teleq)
• Assisting at clinical visits and during skin surgeries
• Wound dressings
• Work primarily during daytime hours, with evening and weekend work occurring approximately every 5–6 weeks, plus about one evening per week.
In the future, rotation to the sleep apnea clinic may become relevant. Since the Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic is a regional clinic, the position involves traveling between clinics in the region on a few occasions during the year; your base placement will be in Jönköping. Travel is conducted during work hours using the clinic vehicle.
We offer a permanent full-time position with a start date to be agreed upon.
Your Future Workplace
The Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic is a regional clinic that treats patients with diseases and injuries in the ear, nose, and throat areas. We operate in Eksjö/Nässjö, Jönköping, and Värnamo. The clinic consists of several different units, including ear, nose, and throat clinics, sleep apnea clinics, audiology clinics, and a hearing aid department. At Länssjukhuset Ryhov in Jönköping, we also have our acute care operations and inpatient beds. We have approximately 100 employees in total.

Your Profile
To be considered for this position, you must have a license as a registered nurse. Previous experience in healthcare is a merit, as is experience with the Cosmic medical records system and telephone advice. A driver's license (category B) is required due to travel involved in the position.
To thrive in the role of registered nurse with us, it's important that you are proactive, flexible, and stable in your approach to work. You have good teamwork skills and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. Being organized and able to adapt to changing circumstances is also important in your daily work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
