Job Description
As a nurse at the youth residential facility, you have a central role in the multidisciplinary team around each young person. Your responsibilities include:
Safe and professional medication management, from ordering and preparation to administration and follow-up.
Training staff in safe medication handling, delegating work tasks, and monitoring delegations.
Assessment and planning of care needs, implementation of nursing interventions, and collaboration with external healthcare providers.
Active participation in treatment teams, preparation for doctor rounds, and contribution to treatment planning.
Preventive and health-promoting work within the student health team.
Participation in quality and improvement work as well as training of employees for safe and evidence-based care.
Your role requires both independence and the ability to collaborate – you are an important link in the team!
Qualifications:
We are looking for a licensed nurse with:
Experience working with people in vulnerable situations, for example in addiction care or psychiatry.
Experience assessing and managing both mental and somatic conditions, for example from primary care or acute care.
Particularly meriting is experience working with young people in psychiatry, substance abuse, or student health.
B driver's license and access to a car.
You have:
Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both in writing and verbally.
Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work, even when needs change rapidly.

Communicates clearly and distinctly, is attentive, and validates young people in their situation.
Can build trusting relationships and create alliances, even with young people who have challenging behaviors.

Employment:
The position is a permanent full-time employment and begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.
The position is a daytime position Monday - Friday.
