The Role of Registered Nurse As a registered nurse, you have a holistic perspective on the patient's complex needs. You are responsible for patient care, observation, medication, and collaborative efforts around patients with varying care needs. We want patients to be actively involved in their care. This means that information is a very important part of your work. You care for patients in the best way based on individual needs and proven experience in medical care. We work in teams with different professions, and together with other colleagues, you work toward good collaboration within the clinic. As a registered nurse, you lead and distribute work within the team. Your Workplace The Medical and Geriatric Clinic at Höglandssjukhuset in Eksjö is a developing facility where we care for patients in need of specialized medical and geriatric care. Within the clinic, there are several care units with different focus areas and orientations. At Medical Care Unit G, we care for people with Stroke/TIA, other neurological diseases such as epilepsy, migraines, etc., as well as acute geriatric patients with multiple conditions. A development opportunity for you as a registered nurse is to become a stroke coordinator through internal training. As a stroke coordinator, you coordinate, together with ambulance, emergency, or health centers, direct admissions for people suspected of having Stroke/TIA. This position is a permanent full-time employment. Start date is by agreement, but we hope you can begin with us as soon as possible.
