The Role of Registered Nurse We are seeking a licensed registered nurse who wants to work with us at the surgical clinic. In your role, you will care for patients undergoing various diagnostic procedures and treatments, as well as planned and emergency surgeries. Your work tasks will primarily consist of pre- and post-operative care, along with other standard nursing duties performed on our ward. Your Future Workplace Surgical Department A cares for patients in upper and lower gastroenterology. There are 24 care beds, and approximately 50 registered nurses and nursing assistants work here in total. Our work environment is characterized by high job satisfaction and good morale within a strong work team. The surgical clinic operates at Höglandssjukhuset in Eksjö, Länssjukhuset Ryhov in Jönköping, and Värnamo Hospital. Organizationally, the surgical clinic is part of the Surgical Care operations area within Region Jönköpings län and has primary responsibility for all patients with surgical conditions. The clinic performs everything from plastic surgery to caring for patients with vascular diseases. Your Profile We are looking for a licensed registered nurse, and we would appreciate if you have experience working with surgical patients on a hospital ward. As a person, you work well with others and are thorough, dedicated, and empathetic in your personal interactions with patients. You have good initiative and take responsibility for your work tasks in a structured manner. You have the ability to work independently, prioritize your work, and can adapt to changing circumstances.
