The municipality has approximately 11,000 residents and is an expanding community with good connections by train and bus to Gothenburg and other major towns in the surrounding area. The community is situated in an old cultural region with fine recreational areas and there is a rich community life in the town. At Närhälsan Vårgårda health center, we have 40 employees in various professions and we are a team of general practitioners. We work in teams with continuous improvement efforts. About the Position Your work tasks at the health center span a broad field of work and include general medicine where you meet patients of all ages and in all situations. You work in a health-promoting, advisory, and treatment capacity in primary care, both via phone, home visits, digital care meetings, and at the clinic. Work takes place through both acute and planned activities. You work largely independently with your own clinic where you triage, treat, and follow up with patients. Close collaboration occurs with your colleagues on the unit and cross-professionally within the team, but also with other actors such as home care and other specialist care. Together with health center management, you are responsible for developing and advancing the operations. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, therefore mentoring students is also part of your role at the health center. As a nurse with us, you are part of a cross-professional team where you, together with other professions, contribute to structured, person-centered, and patient-safe care. About You You are a registered nurse, preferably with specialist training as a district nurse. It is meritorious if you have experience working in primary care and/or have mentor training (7.5 credits), but we also welcome newly graduated nurses. We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making their own decisions. You are thorough, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize your tasks. You meet many patients in your work, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe you enjoy teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. You can express yourself well both verbally and in writing, and are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and visits at the clinic. We would like to see that you have an interest in digitalization and operational development. A professional approach and good conduct toward customers, patients, and colleagues are a given for you. About the Recruitment Process Selection is made in two stages. The first selection is made by a recruiter in the HR department who calls relevant candidates for a phone interview. After that, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them to an interview at the health center. We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe concrete situations as much as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is so that we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
