The Information Technology Department is responsible for implementing support functions of the State Revenue Service (hereinafter – VID) in the field of information systems (hereinafter – IS) resource management.
If you have:
academic or second-level professional higher education;
experience in the field of information technology for at least two years;
knowledge of information system (IS) documentation and/or software development, testing, and implementation;
knowledge of and understanding of IS architecture and information exchange standards;
good SQL skills;
good presentation and communication skills;
ability to work in high-intensity conditions;
compliance with the requirements of Part 2 of Article 6 of the Law "On the State Revenue Service";
an unblemished reputation.
If you are ready to:
implement IS development projects;
manage IS development, acceptance testing, and implementation throughout the entire IS development lifecycle;
coordinate and participate in IS requirements definition;
plan, participate in implementation, and monitor IS development and improvement measures.

Preferences for candidates with:
academic or second-level professional higher education preferably in one of the following fields: information and communication technologies, engineering sciences and technologies, business and administration, natural sciences, or mathematics;

skills in creating SQL queries and scripts.
Employee work location: Beātes street 49, Valmiera or Dzintaru street 22 k-9, Ventspils, or Atmodas street 19, Jelgava or Talejas street 1, Riga. Another work location in a city of the candidate's choice where VID premises are located may also be considered.
