Do you want to be part of creating vital change for vulnerable people? Then working as a treatment pedagogue at SiS is a meaningful challenge. As a treatment pedagogue, you work in a team with treatment assistants and treatment coordinators, and together you are responsible for ensuring that the young people and clients living with us receive the security, care, and treatment they need. We often meet people in crisis, which means you work with qualified nursing and motivational efforts and provide support in daily life. With the support of your knowledge in care and treatment work, you actively contribute to treatment plans being followed. Documentation is an important part of your work and contributes to legal security, planning, and monitoring of our operations. You help ensure security is maintained according to our routines and contribute to daily life running smoothly with schooling, cleaning, cooking, and more. Case management is also one of your responsibilities. Your work may also include mentoring new employees and interns. This is a job for someone who sees a positive challenge in working with vulnerable people in difficult life situations. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, joyful, and varied.

Working hours are scheduled day, evening, and weekend shifts.
As a new employee, you will complete a 10-week SiS basic training program. The training combines theory with guided introduction and equips you for the treatment role in SiS operations.
Qualifications
To succeed in your work, you have a well-founded positive view of people. You are motivated to help people in vulnerable life situations and you share SiS core values of being a place for change. Furthermore, you have a strong ability to create engagement and participation among our young people. As a person, you are confident and have an easy time building relationships with young people as well as with other staff members. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You work well with others and can handle conflicts constructively.
You must also have:
Diploma from a 2-year post-secondary education at a folk high school or vocational school (KY/YH) with a focus on social/pedagogical treatment work or education from a university that we consider equivalent
Category B driver's license
Good Swedish speaking and writing skills
Below are examples of merit-based requirements that may be used in recruitment (select what fits your specific recruitment process)
Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, e.g., work in psychiatry or in LSS care
Experience from client-facing positions at the Correctional Service, e.g., as a Correctional Officer
Security guard training
Experience from client-facing positions at the Migration Agency, e.g., officer at Custody
Education in care and nursing
Experience working with our target group (e.g., substance abuse care, youth care, young girls, etc.)

This position is a permanent full-time position and begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.
