SiS LVM-hem Hessleby, located in a beautiful forest environment just outside Mariannelund, admits men with alcohol, drug, or mixed substance abuse. We have special expertise in receiving clients with mental health issues or aggressive behavior. We are mandated to provide care for clients with special care needs. SiS LVM-hem Hessleby is seeking a unit manager for one of our departments. Your responsibilities are to lead and develop the department in accordance with established goals, with responsibility for care and treatment for men with alcohol, drug, or mixed substance abuse. We have special expertise in medical care and can admit clients with mental health issues and violent behavior. We are mandated to provide care for clients with special care needs. Job Description Leads, plans, implements, follows up, and develops work in the department toward established goals and holds overall treatment responsibility for clients in the department. Responsible for your department and for your employees' work and work environment and ensures that operations are conducted efficiently in a way that achieves decided goals and that work is conducted in accordance with applicable law, SiS directives, operational plans, and special decisions. The unit manager works in close collaboration with the department's group leaders and treatment secretaries. Holds operational responsibility, budget responsibility, and personnel responsibility for the department's employees. Responsible for anchoring and implementing the agency's decisions and regularly following up on operations conducted in the department. Responsible for ensuring that common work methods and practices are used and followed and supports employees in making decisions in daily work. Leads work in the department based on a developmental leadership approach in accordance with SiS leadership policy. Responsible for ensuring that employees in the department have the competence needed for the care and treatment the department provides and ensuring that employees have the prerequisites required to perform their tasks in a good and safe work environment. Responsible for the department's external contacts with, for example, social services. Other work tasks related to the role as needed to create good results. Reports to the facility director and participates in the facility's management group and takes shared responsibility for overall operations. On-call duty according to a rotating schedule. You must have an academic degree of at least 180 credits that creates the prerequisites for adequately handling the above tasks. A degree in social work, social science, or behavioral science with a focus on substance abuse care is meritorious, but other higher education deemed equivalent may be considered. You must also have documented experience working as a manager/leader with overall responsibility for personnel, work environment, finances, and operations. You must have a category B driver's license and be available within 1 hour maximum during on-call duty. Meritorious: Leadership experience from work in substance abuse care, institutional care, social services, or equivalent. Experience working with the target group or experience in social services or psychiatry. Knowledge of special powers related to LVM and experience working with government authority.
