SiS LVM-Home Hessleby, located in a beautiful forest environment just outside Mariannelund, serves men with alcohol, drug, or mixed substance abuse. We have special expertise in receiving clients with mental health issues or disruptive behavior. We are tasked with providing care for clients with special care needs.
Job Description
Do you want to help create vital change for vulnerable people? Then a position as a treatment assistant at SiS is a meaningful challenge. The goal of your assignment is to motivate our youth/clients toward new and less risky ways of living. As a treatment assistant, you are employed to provide care and treatment. You contribute to ensuring that routines in the department function as they should. You play a significant role in stability and security for our clients, and you are responsible for the basics of daily life such as cleaning, cooking, and more. You help maintain order and safety at the institution according to our routines. Documentation is an important part of your work. You will work on building secure relationships and help ensure our clients receive the safety and security they need to break established patterns of behavior. Together with your team of engaged colleagues, such as treatment educators and treatment coordinators, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, rewarding, and varied.

Work hours are scheduled day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Qualifications
Your personal suitability is key to vital change. Therefore, you need a strong ability to create engagement and participation. Equally important is that you have a well-founded positive view of people, great empathetic ability, and an ability to build good relationships. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in stressful situations. You also have the ability to work with others and are willing to share your knowledge with colleagues.
You must also have:
At least 2 years of post-secondary education from a folk high school or vocational school (KY/YH) or equivalent education. The education should be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or other relevant subject areas.*
Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, for example within psychiatry, HVB activities, or care and welfare.
Category B driver's license
Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written

Employment:
The positions are permanent full-time employment and begin with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.
