Welcome to be part of shaping the future social services where we will work together with the needs of the municipality's residents in focus!
Within our operations we meet all ages, including children, young people, parents, persons with harmful use or addiction, socio-psychiatric functional impairment, victims of violence and persons in need of subsistence support. We work with authority exercises, needs-assessed interventions as well as with preventive and advisory initiatives to reach people early.
We are facing a change where the social services sector and the care and elderly care sector merge into a new shared sector, the welfare sector. The aim is to create better conditions to meet future needs and challenges through strengthened cooperation, more secure skills supply and more coordinated support to residents.
Work with the new organization is underway and may involve changes in department and unit divisions in the coming time.

WORK TASKS
To meet the requirements of the Social Services Act and the needs we see in the operation, we are now expanding our team and seeking an additional SIP Coordinator.
Today, two employees work to coordinate SIP meetings for children where the social services is the contracting authority. Now we are taking the next step and strengthening the work both operationally and strategically.
In the role of SIP Coordinator, you become a central part of the municipality's work with coordinated individual planning (SIP). Together with two colleagues, you form a specialist and development resource that supports operations in planning, leading and following up SIP processes with high quality.
The assignment involves you:
- planning and leading SIP meetings based on the best interests of the child and a holistic view of the individual's needs
- coordinating interventions between different actors such as schools, social services and health and medical care
- ensuring structure, participation and clarity in the meeting process
An important part of the assignment is also to further develop the municipality's SIP work. This means that you:
- contribute to a more systematic and equitable approach
- develop methods for follow-up and analysis of SIP interventions
- follow up results with a focus on what difference the interventions make for the child
You will work closely with operations within children and young people, with the opportunity to eventually develop the assignment to also include adults in need of coordinated interventions. The role suits you who enjoy working both close to the individual and with development at system level.
