Djupadalsbadet opened in 2013 and is a well-visited facility, serving residents of Kumla as well as visitors from other parts of the county and country. You will meet many people and have varied work that sometimes requires a fast pace. Djupadalsbadet offers visitors recreational swimming, swimming lessons, group training and adventure pools, as well as a relaxation area and gym operated in-house. During summer, our outdoor pool and camping are open. As an employee at Djupadalsbadet, you are part of the Culture and Recreation Administration and belong to the Recreation Department.

WORK DUTIES
As a swimming instructor and pool attendant, you will work with various pool and swimming activities such as swimming lesson instruction, pool supervision, water gymnastics/aerobics, baby swimming, badge and swimming proficiency testing, facility maintenance and emergency care.
Other duties such as facility management/maintenance and customer service at reception/cashier may also occur.
Together as a team, we create the heart and pulse of Djupadalsbadet. Together we are responsible for ensuring visitors enjoy themselves, feel comfortable and receive the help they need during their visit, and experience a fun and safe pool facility. Since the work focuses on the visitor, it places great demands on service and safety thinking.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a qualified swimming instructor with documented experience in swimming instruction. You must also have a high school diploma, experience working in a pool facility, and training in CPR, defibrillation and water rescue. Your knowledge of Swedish and English should be good.
Meritorious qualifications:
- Certified water gymnastics instructor
- Sauna/Aufguss training
- Language skills in languages other than Swedish and English

During the interview process, you will also participate in a swimming test and later a water rescue test.
