Heat Supply and Heating Systems Technician
(Boiler House Manager)

Responsible for: Pļaviņas, Skrīveri, and Koknesе boiler houses.
Requirements for candidates:
Secondary specialized or higher education in thermal engineering or mechanics professions.
Experience in performing similar job duties for at least one year.
Knowledge:
Ability to assess the technical condition of heating equipment and systems, understand the tasks related to assembly, maintenance and servicing of thermal equipment and systems using technical documentation of the work to be performed.
Knowledge of and compliance with technical operating requirements of heating equipment and its components.
Knowledge of the operating principles of serviced equipment and its components, their operation, inspection, maintenance and other regulations related to equipment operation.
Ability to assess the readiness of thermal equipment and systems for operation using visual, hydraulic and electrical testing methods.
Knowledge of the sequence of execution of mutually related work processes.
Job responsibilities:
Organize the operation of boiler houses under the company's supervision, assign tasks to employees working at these facilities, and monitor the performance of their work.
Perform necessary inspections of boiler house boilers and units.
Be responsible for operations at the boiler house and compliance with operating regulations and bear full material responsibility for material and other valuables in the boiler house and on its territory.
In case of system failures, be responsible for the operation of individual heat exchange units and boiler houses.
Monitor correct accounting and use of thermal energy, perform monthly accounting at all company's thermal energy consumption facilities and submit indicators to accounting.
Ability to provide heat equipment assembly materials, tools, technical aids and equipment necessary for work performance, following the planned work schedule.
Ability to manage heat sources, heat networks and buildings' internal systems maintenance and assembly.
Submit proposals to the technical director and board for improvements in heat equipment and heat production work.
Ensure supply of materials, tools, technical aids, equipment and other resources to boiler houses necessary for boiler house operational functioning.
Plan and carry out necessary actions for fuel procurement and strategic reserves, cooperating with direct supervisor in work execution.
