Do you have expertise in signal security, or previous experience working with the Swedish Armed Forces' signal security systems? The Swedish Armed Forces in Gothenburg is expanding, and we are seeking a signal security chief to be based in Gothenburg at the Defence Medicine Centre (FömedC). You will work at the Defence Medicine Centre and support the security chief regarding signal security services. Main Responsibilities As Signal Security Chief, you report to the security chief. You are the functional responsible for signal security services at the Defence Medicine Centre. You lead, coordinate, and administer signal security services at the unit. - Daily administration such as handling of incoming matters and inquiries - Responsible for and driving activities and projects within signal security; equipment, training, inspections, and distribution - Responsible for, together with the unit's signal security trained personnel, programming and implementing occurring updates and reinstallations in signal security systems - Maintains and revises, when necessary, the unit's local procedures and instructions, as well as other essential documentation for operations - Trains personnel on signal security and signal security systems - Coordinates the unit's annual inventory regarding signal security - Participates in occurring trainings and meetings related to the position; travel occurs - Functionally leads and supports development of, and cooperation with, the Garrison Support Section's Signal Security Division - Drives development of work tasks within NATO COMSEC at the Defence Medicine Centre - And other occurring work tasks within the department In the position, you will collaborate with many colleagues both within and outside your own organizational unit. Qualifications - Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written - Category B driver's license - Upper secondary education with university admission eligibility - Good knowledge of MS Office package Personal Qualities You are unpretentious, have good social competence, are service-oriented and flexible towards both internal and external parties, as you will be in contact with many people. You are security-conscious and can handle sensitive information in a confidential manner. You are a person who takes responsibility and is proactive in your work tasks. You can work independently and suggest new solutions within given frameworks and regulations when you encounter challenges in your work. Within your area of expertise, you can propose and make your own decisions. You can prioritize and plan your work efficiently. You can communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and external parties in writing and speech. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. Meritorious Qualifications - Trained FM Signal Security Chief from the Total Defence Signal Security School (TSS) - Civil signal security chief according to TSS training plan - Trained crypto custodian - Trained as key and card administrator - Trained in FM basic security and signal security foundation - Trained as system operator in FM signal security systems - Experience from technical service within the Swedish Armed Forces - Communications/command and control systems knowledge within the Army's systems - Previous employment in the Swedish Armed Forces, or completed military service For the agency's mission to be successful, all employees are expected to conduct themselves in accordance with the values established.
