SIG Coordinator, Open Youth Services

The Social Intervention Group is part of the social services open care unit, primarily serving young people aged 12-20 years. Open care provides assessed support services in the form of family treatment, Kvarteret youth housing, social intervention groups, and substance abuse treatment at MiniMaria, conducted in collaboration with the region. The unit consists of two teams, each led by a group leader who directs and distributes work across the teams based on the mandate decided by the authority department. All staff work from the office at Holmfastvägen 31 in Södertälje. Your Responsibilities As a coordinator in the social intervention group, you work with young people to prevent and hinder the establishment of crime as a lifestyle. Your work involves both coordinating interventions and providing support, motivation, and treatment conversations with young people and their caregivers. You work in close collaboration with the police authority and on assignment from social workers. The position also involves convening joint meetings to collaborate with others in supporting the young person and their family (such as school meetings, SIG meetings). This requires the ability to plan and structure work, document, and follow up on the young person's progress. Some evening shifts are included. Who Are You? As a coordinator in the Social Intervention Group, you have a strong ability to collaborate and advance cases to achieve established goals in treatment work. You have previous experience working with change processes, motivating change, and building alliances that benefit the young person's development. You support your colleagues and take responsibility for the unit's overall goals. Requirements: Social work degree or other academic degree that the employer deems equivalent. Previous experience in social work Class B driver's license Good knowledge of commonly used digital tools Meritorious: Experience working in Combine Experience with authority functions Relevant training for the target group Personal Qualities: You are engaged and motivated in your assignment and see young people's potential for change and view the young person's family as a resource. You can work independently and in a structured manner, while also being part of a team where you support colleagues and receive support from them.
