Our organization adopted a new structure in spring 2026 where the Children and Youth Authority is an area consisting of a unit for investigation 0-20 and family law, as well as a unit for family care, support and treatment. The area is led by an area manager and each unit is led by a unit manager. The area consists of approximately 25 employees. The SIG role is new on Kungsholmen and has started to be built and shaped during spring 2026 based on the needs and conditions we have. Part of the role will involve the continued development of this work and you will have good opportunities to influence and shape the content of the role. The position will be organized within the Unit for Family Care, Support and Treatment. This is a time-limited one-year assignment. You work on behalf of, and receive support from the unit manager. You will also work with competent colleagues who enjoy working and developing together. Kungsholmen is a reasonably sized district administration where we all know each other. It's easy to collaborate both internally within the unit and externally with employees in other units. We are located in newly renovated premises at Fleminggatan 4 on Kungsholmen, within walking distance of T-centralen. Your role SIG is about social services coordinating, planning and ensuring that comprehensive, intensive and multimodal interventions are implemented for young people at high risk of continued norm-breaking, criminal behavior with a focus on interventions in accordance with the principles of risk, need and responsivity. You collaborate closely with the investigation team, family treatment workers and external professional actors around the young person as well as with the young person themselves and their private network. Your competence and experience We're looking for you who have: A degree in Social Work (Socionomexamen) Several years of experience working with this target group, preferably SIG coordination and/or authority work Experience in treatment work with young people and families within social services. Experience in independently driving development processes. Further education relevant to the role is meritorious, for example Savry and RBM. As a SIG coordinator, we want you to be structured, stable and work toward set goals with a holistic perspective. You enjoy creating good relationships and collaborating with others to achieve the best results. You're used to working independently but are also a team player with the ability to broaden your perspective and adapt your work to the situation when needed. The Department of Social Services is responsible for care of people with disabilities, individual and family care, financial assistance and labor market measures, as well as field and leisure activities. During 2025, responsibility for park play activities will transfer to the department.
