The dishes department is an important part of this, and we are now looking for a Shift Leader Dishes with several years of experience in dish operations in larger operations and documented experience in team leadership. About the Role As Shift Leader Dishes, you have a central role in daily operations and are responsible for ensuring that the dishes department functions efficiently throughout the day, whether it's restaurant service, large banquets or international trade shows and events. You lead the daily work of the team and serve as the link between employees and management. Through present and clear operational leadership, you ensure that operations run smoothly, that the right priorities are made and that the team has the conditions needed to succeed. The role is operational and involves working closely with the team in the operation and leading by example. Your Responsibilities As Shift Leader Dishes, you are responsible for the daily operation of the dishes department and ensure that operations function efficiently, safely and with high quality. You lead the work during ongoing operations and ensure that the team has the right conditions to meet operational needs, whether it's restaurant service, large banquets or trade show and event operations. Your main responsibilities include: Lead, coach and delegate work for the dishes department staff during the daily shift. Ensure that dish handling functions efficiently and contributes to smooth flow between kitchen, restaurants and other operations. Plan and prioritize resources based on operational needs and quickly adapt work when conditions change. Introduce and train new employees and provide support for their development. Conduct daily quality checks and ensure that hygiene, environmental and safety procedures are followed. Ensure that the right equipment, chemicals and consumables are available and used correctly. Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to develop both individuals and teams. Handle daily operational challenges and work solution-oriented to ensure a high level of service. Report deviations, maintenance needs and improvement suggestions to your manager. Participate in developing the department's working methods, routines and work environment. Work closely with kitchen, restaurants and other departments to ensure the best possible experience for our guests. Who Are You? Qualifications Several years of experience working in dish operations at larger hotels, restaurants, arenas, event venues or similar high-volume operations. Experience in team leadership and leading teams in daily operations. Strong ability to plan, prioritize and organize work. Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. Good proficiency in English, both spoken and written. Good computer skills and experience working in a digital work environment. Why Choose Us?
