We offer education and courses both in-house and in collaboration with external education providers, daytime/evening or distance learning, always based on the individual's needs. Working hours are scheduled during daytime - Monday to Friday, with one evening session per week. Regular working hours are 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. The evening session is scheduled for 10:00 AM–7:00 PM. Welcome to submit your application! 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You will teach adult students in Swedish as a second language at SFI level. You will be part of a team of teachers in the same subject, i.e., Swedish as a second language, and with special education teachers. The assignment also includes evening teaching and may include teaching at workplaces in Luleå Municipality. Work as an SFI teacher involves overall: - teaching in SFI within all study paths and SFI courses - motivating and guiding students toward good study results - responsibility for teaching planning and documentation - assessing students' development based on current curricula - close collaboration with colleagues in structured collegial learning and co-assessment - being prepared to teach remotely (digitally) as well as in-classroom instruction QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • A teaching degree and valid teaching certification. • Authorization to teach within SFI (Swedish for immigrants). We also welcome applicants who have a teaching degree and teaching certification with authorization in Swedish, but who do not yet have authorization for SFI, to apply for the position. If you are offered employment, it will in that case be a fixed-term employment according to the provisions of the Education Act. We also see that you have good experience using digital tools in both teaching and documentation, and that you view digital tools as a natural part of your pedagogical work. To succeed in the role, you are relationship-building, pedagogical, and have a genuine interest in adult learning. You are flexible and can adapt your teaching based on students' different conditions and goals. Furthermore, you are organized, have good collaboration skills, and thrive in an organization that continuously develops.
