About the Position We are now seeking a teacher to instruct SFI (Swedish for Immigrants) classes, with lessons on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:15 PM to 7:45 PM. The remaining time is planning time to be conducted at the workplace from 3:00 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays. In the evening, we have an additional SFI class running. During planning time, you will have the opportunity to connect with colleagues, discuss teaching approaches, and plan shared thematic areas. Beyond that, you are expected to take significant responsibility for your students and their progress. This means you will adapt instruction based on students' different circumstances and needs. Qualifications Required You are a certified and qualified teacher for SFI. You are studying to become a teacher with the appropriate qualifications. You take significant personal responsibility and adapt instruction based on students' different circumstances and needs. Desirable Qualifications You have taught adult students. You have taught in another school form. You have experience in intercultural environments. About the Employment The position is 25% of full-time (10 hours per week). The placement location is Växjö. This is a substitute position. For applicants with the correct qualifications and teaching certification, this is a permanent employment. There may be opportunities for expansion of the position. It begins with a 6-month probationary period. Those without the required qualifications will be offered a fixed-term employment. Start date September 4 or by agreement.
