Server at O'Learys Uddevalla About the position: Your ultimate role as a server at O'Learys Uddevalla is to ensure that our guests have a fantastic experience when they visit us. This means constantly keeping full focus on the guests, welcoming and attending to each guest, being attentive and helpful, and professionally addressing the guest's wishes! You help guests to their tables, present the menu and take orders, serve food and beverages, and provide guests with excellent service throughout their visit with us. Your responsibilities include: Serve food and beverages according to service sequence Welcome and greet guests with a smile, show them to tables or activities Be responsible for presenting the menu and offers to guests Ensure guests receive the best possible service and overall experience Take orders and deliver correct slips to the kitchen Ensure compliance with alcohol laws and check ID for guests under 25 years old Collect payment from guests and provide receipts upon completion of sale Alert the manager or security personnel if a guest has consumed too much alcohol or is creating an inappropriate atmosphere Actively drive sales of add-ons and upselling such as dipping sauces, appetizers, beverages, and desserts Inform our guests about our activities and other offers in a friendly and welcoming manner Be responsible for setting up and preparing the venue before opening/closing and carefully follow service checklists and manuals Serve tables, clear, clean, and collect dishes and garbage and place them in designated areas Ensure service stations are well-organized and stocked Support all areas of the restaurant such as dishwashing, activities, kitchen, and bar Desired experience and qualities: At least three years of work experience as service staff in a restaurant/bar and have good cash register experience Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and have good knowledge of English At least high school education Relationship-building, stress-tolerant, and enjoy working as part of a team Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Problem-solver with a focus on creating a great experience for the guest Have a passion for food, beverages, sports, and people Does this sound like something for you?
