ABOUT THE ROLE YOU ARE SEEKING Saps is responsible for operating and maintaining Trafikverket's VViS stations in the Western Region. The assignment includes preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, on-call duty and standby, as well as new installations, reinvestment, and reconstruction work in road traffic environments. Work is performed in technical facilities with high demands on availability, quality, documentation, and safety. As a technician in this role, you will work with troubleshooting, fault rectification, installation, component replacement, function checks, and technical reporting. The role involves independent fieldwork where you need to analyze faults, implement the correct measures, and ensure that the facility returns to its intended function. We are looking for you with experience as an electrical technician, service technician, or similar technical role and who has worked with troubleshooting, maintenance, installation, or electrical work in electrical or process technical systems. For this assignment, it is particularly relevant to have experience with preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, or installation work in facilities with similar technical complexity, preferably in traffic environments or other mission-critical infrastructure. Trafikverket requires that service technicians have at least three years of experience with preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, or installation work on equivalent or similar systems, experience working in road traffic environments, and the ability to independently perform the work. For you who will work with electrical work or electrical installations, it is important that you have the right education, knowledge, and experience for the work tasks involved. The documentation indicates that the employer is responsible for ensuring that personnel performing electrical work with electrical equipment have appropriate competence according to ELSÄK-FS 2017:3, and that work where there is electrical hazard must be based on training that covers the Electrical Safety Authority's regulations and SS-EN 50110-1. Evening/night work and on-call duty are also part of the role. We are looking for you who have worked as an electrical technician, service technician, or similar technical role troubleshooting, fault rectification, and installation in electrical or process technical systems electrical work or electrical-related work with appropriate training and electrical safety understanding independent fieldwork with high demands on quality and documentation preferably experience working in road traffic environments or other mission-critical technical infrastructure.
