Service Technician / Workshop Manager – Agricultural Machinery

About the Position Ikett is now seeking a service technician/workshop manager for a key role with our client near Kristianstad! Do you want to combine practical work with planning and leadership? Then you might be the right person we're looking for! This is a varied position where you split your time between practical workshop work and the workshop manager role. About half your time you'll work directly with service, troubleshooting, and repairs, while the other half involves planning, coordinating, and supporting workshop and field operations. As a service technician, you'll work with: - Service and repair of agricultural machinery and equipment - Mechanical troubleshooting and repair - Electrical, electronic, and hydraulic troubleshooting - Computer-based diagnostics and troubleshooting with modern diagnostic tools - Repair welding and preventive maintenance - Work both in the workshop and at customer sites in the local area As workshop manager, you'll be responsible for: - Planning and allocating work in the workshop - Coordinating service assignments and field work - Providing technical support to service technicians - Maintaining ongoing contact with customers and suppliers - Ensuring work is completed efficiently and with high quality - Contributing to the development of procedures and working methods Working Hours: Daytime. Start: Immediately or by agreement! Your Profile We believe you have experience as a mechanic or service technician in agriculture, construction, trucking, or other heavy vehicles and machinery. You have good technical understanding and enjoy combining practical work with planning and coordination. To succeed in this role, we see that you: - Have solid knowledge of mechanics, electrical systems, and hydraulics - Have experience with troubleshooting and computer-based diagnostic work - Are organized and have good planning abilities - Enjoy supporting and collaborating with colleagues - Have good customer service skills and enjoy customer contact - Take responsibility and can prioritize in a varied workday - Have good administrative experience Previous experience in work supervision, workshop planning, or similar is a merit but not required for the right person. A valid driver's license (category B) is required.
