Vattenfall Värme is now seeking you to work as a service technician in district heating and help ensure a stable and socially important district heating supply. In this role, you will work closely with our customers, solve technical problems in the field, and contribute to the development of a climate-smart society. About the Position The Measurement and Customer-Facing Services team is responsible for collecting measurement data for district heating, district cooling, and steam, as well as providing customer-facing services for Vattenfall Värme. As a service technician, you will be offered versatile and independent work with a focus on good customer relationships. You are part of a team with excellent cohesion that works toward common goals. You will work with energy meter issues, performing service and maintenance on our customers' and our own district heating plants. You will also be part of Vattenfall Värme's strategic projects and initiatives to achieve more efficient production and distribution. Work location is Uppsala, and the position includes on-call duty within Uppsala, Knivsta, and Storvreta every fifth week. Your main responsibilities: Perform service in customer-owned district heating plants Troubleshoot and advise on customer-owned district heating plants Operation and maintenance of our own district heating plants Energy meter issues (new installations, calibration replacements, and communication problems) Assume responsibility for dismantling and commissioning together with plumbing contractors during heat exchanger replacements at customer sites Work proactively to increase the efficiency of our customers' installations Job Requirements We would like you to have: Experience as a service or operations technician in plumbing, energy, process, etc., or experience as an electrician Valid driver's license category B (required) Fluent Swedish in speech and writing (required) Experience working with digital tools Comfortable working both independently and in a team as well as having customer contact Meritorious: Experience in control and regulation technology English proficiency in speech and writing As a service technician, you will be our ambassador at customer sites, and therefore we are looking for someone who is service-oriented and driven by problem-solving and helping customers. You can easily adapt to new circumstances and enjoy learning new products and services. When you work, you are thorough and follow established procedures.
